The clash between Flipkart and Amazon India has moved to several campuses, with untimely hiring trends signifying a head launch for the US Company. Amazon is powering in advance to become the leading e-commerce recruiter in India in terms of ingestion, salaries, diversity in roles accessible and even student notice, according to original placement information at most important business schools and engineering colleges—amongst the most vital talent-hunting fields for different companies.
Recruitments by Amazon India have increased by 25% as compared to the last year and they are visiting more than 55 engineering colleges and 45 B-schools, the company stated to the media. “Amazon’s existence in India has developed considerably over the past years and hiring several candidates are keeping velocity for that reason,” a representative stated in an email. Amazon does not disclose employment figures. By disparity, Flipkart Company is back on college campuses after hopping position seasons at the Indian Institutes of Management (IITs, IIMs) and Indian Institutes of Technology for the class in the year 2017 and its candidates are much lesser than its opponent so far.
Campus spokesperson also said insights of Flipkart were pretentious by the company set backing joining dates for hiring from the 2016 batch. Flipkart company was among the high-profile recruiters, hiring around 250–300 students from IIMs and IITs every year. Even though it increased over $5 Billion this year, the home-based online seller appears to be going very slow as compared with Amazon India, based on data and Information from important non-IIT engineering institutes and B-schools. A Flipkart company representative stated that the company would not give any statements on the subject.
