Kawasaki Vulcan S cruiser motorcycle was launched today by India Kawasaki. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 5.44 lakh. Vulcan S is the first cruiser motorcycle from Kawasaki in India and would be unveiled at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. Bookings for the new Kawasaki Vulcan S have begun in India and interested buyers can contact the nearest dealers for booking. Vulcan S will be available only in flat ebony color.
The launch of bike Yutaka Yamashita has been announced by Managing Director of Kawasaki Motor, India. He said that the time is ripe to bring this cruiser in India. After bringing sports bikes, naked bikes & off-road bikes, there cannot be a better way to introduce the world famous Vulcan brand.” Vulcan S has marked its presence in India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit. The bike will be assembled in Chakan, Pune.
Kawasaki Vulcan S cruiser is the latest addition to the bike maker’s 650 cc range, which already includes the Ninja 650 sports tourer, designer Z 650 naked street bike, and the beautiful Versys 650 adventure tourer. Fueled by Kawasaki’s 649 cc liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel twin engine, and users can rest assured of a smooth and outstanding performance, especially in the lower and medium rpm ranges. The fuel-injected motor gives out a maximum of 60 bhp and has a peak torque of 63 Nm, along with a functional 6-speed gearbox.
The Vulcan S has all the features of a good-looking cruiser motorcycle. The curved flowing style matched with an unparalleled design of an inverted triangle headlamp with position lamp makes it quite attractive. Short exhaust pipe and cushioned split seats make the bike comfortable.
An 18-inch wheel up front and 17-inch wheel on the rear end is featured on the bike. There are different components of the foot peg to provide a comfortable ride to users of varying heights. The bike has adjustable brake and the clutch levers as well.
